It Would Be Great if You Could Choose Three More Attributes to Compliment Your Brain

Tell me, if you were given the opportunity to choose three more traits to have in your being, your personality, what would they be? That’s an interesting question, isn’t it?

While it is semi-rhetorical, I find myself believing that I can affect my response to outside influence and interference by simply changing my mindset. Changing my mind isn’t something that comes naturally. It is a learned skill, and it sometimes takes years to accomplish. Yet, I have found that it is possible to make changes in my personality simply by thinking differently.

How I react to something disturbing in my past does not have to constantly be my reaction to similar happenings today. That’s because I get to choose what my reaction will be. If I don’t like the way I responded to a past disturbance I am free to react a totally new way if I encounter something similar today.

Three traits I definitely want in my life

We all have that ability to change in us, and yet we don’t always make positive changes or choose a different path. Most of us want to live in a world that is full of peace and harmony, but we seem to have vastly different ideas on how to achieve this.

INTELLIGENCE

Everyone already has some form of book learning and/or street sense that has been learned through schooling, or perhaps different experiences that have happened in their lives, including me.

The added intelligence I seek is that which would allow me to recognize truth from fiction. I believe it would be awesome to have the ability to ferret out those statements that play on my gullibility, and my sympathy.

Another benefit of this new type of intelligence would allow me to recognize people for who they are and what they represent. Our society and our family biases have indoctrinated us into believing all colors of skin, or beliefs, or sexual preferences besides “straight white” are inferior in some way.
