Let’s Go Shopping, She Said; It’ll Be Fun, She Said
As a people watcher, I have seen many characters pass in front of my eyes over the years. They come in all shapes and sizes — some with earrings and necklaces, others with tattoos and spiked hair. There’s nothing wrong with any of them — to each his own, as they say.
People are very much like peacocks in one regard, they feel the need to stand out as an individual to capture attention. Some are vociferous protestors, some are glamourous, and some are unabashed in their attempt at decency. Others are just doing their thing and want to finish whatever it is they are doing so they can go home and crash.
That’s pretty typical for our society. It adds a certain variety of responses one can expect to any given situation. I find that to be a healthy experience because I never know how people will react to a certain set of circumstances — they are all different.
Take shopping, for instance.
